An issue with GoDaddy DNS resolution impacted many websites worldwide, including some Givecloud-hosted sites that rely on customer-managed DNS resolution through GoDaddy. The impact window was approximately 4:19-4:35 PM EST. https://status.godaddy.com/incidents/mfypjj760vst

The Givecloud core platform experienced a period of degraded performance roughly between 2025-12-09 7:00 AM - 2025-12-09 8:45 AM EST.

Our team identified the cause that was impacting a subset of donation forms, websites, admin portals and APIs, and deployed a fix to resolve it.

At this time the issue is fully resolved, all systems are healthy, and we continue to monitor.

Cloudflare has implemented a fix and believes the incident is now resolved. We continue to monitor availability, but Givecloud services are currently back to normal.

The issue has shifted back to Major Outage.

All platform components are confirmed to be operational. A failed software deployment to one of our application servers is what caused the outage to approximately 25% of customer sites, and we've taken this server out of rotation while we investigate the root cause. A post-incident report will be available on Nov. 14, upon request to incidents@givecloud.com.

We have applied a fix and are seeing operations recover. We will continue to monitor the situation.
